I got my X back. We broke up. She went and dated another guy. Screwed him for 3 months. Realized he was crappy besides sex. Came back to me a year later after I was NC. I dated her, realized I am a idiot, and broke up with her again. This happened numerous times... Now I'd never date her ever again... How is that for a happy story! :)

on a side note, I broke up with my X and met another girl 1 year later who is amazing... night and day.. so sweet, caring, generous, beautiful, and amazing in bed.

I know know contact is not a tool, just wanted to know if there where any success stories and if no contact was used.

I doubt you will find much of that on this website. Not saying that success stories haven't happened, because they have, but I don't think NC had anything to do with it. That question has been asked a thousand times on here and there are always the same answers.

If you are going NC just to get your ex back, you probably won't get her back, and if you do, how long do you plan on staying together? Let's be real here, to actually make a reconciliation work problems have to be corrected on both ends... missing someone doesn't make a relationship work.

So the real question is why did you break up and how do you plan on correcting any issues you have so that FUTURE relationships will flourish?

Another issue is that both parties are afraid to contact each other or make the first move cause you might look needy or clingy or w/e the reason it is. So usually both parties end up moving on unless both of them really do love each other and can't resist but risk it all. But how many breakup couples end up with that? Not many, so pretty much once it's over.. just let it be and when it comes in time, just face it there... rest just don't worry about it. The more you worry, nothing is going to happen or change... so why even bother anymore that way it's less strain on your mind and you can focus on anything you want to do. ^^

Do a search and see how many times this question has been asked. Then read the answers to those questions. It will all be the same:

NC is NOT a tool to win them back. NC is tool used to aid the moving on process.

There are not any tried and true methods on how to be in a relationship, nor is there a tried and true method for getting back an ex.

However, there is a tried and true method for moving on, and that is NC.

This is soooo my question.

I got her back after a month and a half. Only the last 2 weeks of which I went totally NC and got a new girlfriend. The ex contacted me and knew about my new girl. She got ridiculously jealous, but I told her I wouldn't get back with her. Surprisingly, my new girlfriend was bipolar and dumped me. I went back to me ex. We were happy for about 3 months of time, then she broke up with me again for not listening to her/fighting with her friend/because she's moving in a year.

NC man, NC. Even when she comes back, more NC.
