Possible 80's or 90's cartoon movie
Trying to find a movie but can't remember the title and haven't seen it in stores. The main character is a boy who dreams and finds himself in another land entirely. He has a pet, a squirrel/chipmunk type creature. The boy ends up meeting the king of this land and he is shown a strange staff with a sphere on the top. This staff is the protection of the land and the king activates its power by muttering a long list of words and coming to its clamax yells "Amma Pajama!" The boy inadvertainly let's out a dark evil that has been kept in prison for a long time and it takes the king captive. The boy takes the staff and accompanied by friends, must destroy the evil once and for all. The boy wakes up and he is in the real world. He goes to see a parade and there he sees everyone in his dream.

It's a cartoon movie from the 80's or 90's maybe. Its about a bunch of animals in a forest and a truck flips over and lets poisonous gas into the forest and all the animals try to survive.
