    Hey guys. Ugh.

This morning upon I went to my car to get my day started. Going to my car I see the front passenger car window busted. No joke. Glass was shattered everywhere. They broke in and stole my GPS- thanks helps me get around this big ole city I barely know. Anyway the dummy also forgot to bring the cord to go along with the GPS- good luck using a dead GPS moron. UGH.

So in the end I had to dig into my saving and spend $150 on a new window and another 80$ on a new GPS. Pretty cheap too- it's an upgrade of the one I had, it's flat, it's faster, it's still a Garmin.

Heck- the thief should've stolen my window instead--- it's worth a lot more than a GPS.

    Ah c'est la vie.

Side note: My car was parked right by my garage with a motion light detector [it was parked like in my photo]↓

    Damn that sucks muddy...

My friends and I parked in the city, in a secure carpark that charges like $12 an hour to park there. We went for dinner and when we came back, the back window of his car was smashed and our bags were stolen. The bags were hidden under the seats and the only thing visible was our jackets which were still there. We had 3 bags in the car, all hidden and all with laptops in them, so that sucked.

Furthermore, in this "secure" carpark, no security camera caught what happened or who did it and they said its not their fault.

    Serious, so messed up

    Aw honey that sucks!
You feel raped when someone does crap like that!

I was burglarized and I woke up to this crack head going through my jeans on my dresser. I never wore them again! I felt so violated!

I'm sorry honey, that is the kind of crap that makes you want to kick somebody's .anyone! You start looking at everyone as the person who did it.
    Did they dust for prints?

You usually file a police report, but most often they don't even some out to investigate Artsy... at least here that's how it is...

That sounds like it should have been a civil case. Maybe not civil but small claims or something.I would at least write a letter to the editor and rag on this place and hopefully hurt their business.
What the heck does secure mean?
    C'mon that's ridiculous.
If the statute of limitations has not run out I would take them to court.

Sarah, did you file a claim with your insurance company? If you have Comprehensive coverage (Comprehensive covers theft/vandalism), they should reimburse you the amount you spent on replacing the glass and the GPS. Even though you've already paid, you should still be able to submit your receipts along with a copy of the police report.

Sorry to hear this happened to you. :(

EDIT: Comp claims don't count against you so it won't hurt your insurance to file this.

My sons don't pay the extra for that kind of loss and we live in a neighborhood where things happen .So they should!

My kids don't lock their car because they don't want to have to pay for a window.

It sucks to feel that way.

You feel so violated,it like an emotional rape. Poor kid.

This is so bogus, Sarah. Same thing is going on in my neighborhood, and the cops can't trouble themselves to come out and take a report. We have to report crimes over the phone. At least the loser didn't get the cord for the GPS. Hopefully, that will render it useless to the idiot.

Same thing happened to me just before Christmas, except I have a convertible and they slashed my roof.
It just makes you feel yukky, and makes you want to hunt down the person who did it and break THEM!

Oh my, I leave the castle for some time (mother took the opportunity to get on the puter when I was giving my dog her food yesterday and played word challenge on fbook for 3 hours, don't want to disturb her in such situations ) and Red turns the castle upside down. The crocs are all over the place  Now, get all to the lake, no food for today, that's your punishment.

Red, you're in serious trouble now.

Sorry to learn the news Sarah... It would be good to have some detective kit, then, you'll be like in the serials, looking for fingerprints and all the stuff. Then, you make the burglar pay! ;)

Oh oh why are you wore out?
I am doing well. New shirt, cute shoes, and good hair day. That makes a girl smile. I am about to do some job searching in a minute. I always keep my eye open for something better.
