My chihuahua will NOT eat his dry food only wet.
I have tried to mix wet & dry food together and he will like the dry food totally clean and then spit it out. I see that people have said to pick up the food after 15 minutes, but I also was told that their blood sugar will drop if they don't eat.. He has gone 3 days without eating because he does not want the dry food. Any suggestions??
    Thanks,

I have no idea what to say other than give him back the wet food for now so he'll at least eat, 3 days is a bit long to go without eating anything... Have you tried maybe soaking the dry food in Chicken broth or something similar (to make it taste a bit more yummy)...

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I have the same problem with my little Chihuahua as well, every now and then I'll mix her food and she'll eat it right up, but other times she'll just turn her nose up at it and Not touch a bite. I give in to her and let her have things her way (since she already has to have a supplement to keep her sugar level normal) Good Luck and I hope everything works out for you guys.

    My suggestion:
    Change the dry food.

I had the same problem as you, I had one extremely picky boy who would actually suck on the dry food to get the wet off and then spit it back in the bowl.

I eventually gave in and just gave them wet food along with dental hygene stick every day.

After a week or so I found a fish flavoured dry food "tastes of the ocean" it had actual dried fish in it along with the kibble bits (looked gross) and I know my boy LOVES sardines so I gave it a try...
I mixed it in with the wet food, and HE ATE IT.
I was so pleased, he still doesn't like eating the dry on its own but now he has no problem eating it mixed with the wet.

I would try finding another brand/variety of dry food that yours may be more inclined to eat. ;)
