This is my first time ordering off Ebay. I just want to order a book.

Is it safe in your opinion to order from eBay.

I see they use paypal. So I do have an acct, is that simple to do, ordering using my paypal account?

Any tips will be appreciated.

Hi,. yes eBay is fine, I have bought many things from eBay with no problems.

However it always pays to look at the sellers feedback,this will tell you other peoples experiences with the particular seller.

Paypal is the safest way, although I personally do not have an account as I prefer to pay by personal cheque or postal order depending which the seller prefers.

Even though the seller may state paypal only, very often if you email them beforehand, they will accept cheques or postal orders.

I think eBay is safe to use. Paypal is good to use when buying from eBay because you can file a dispute form if you don't receive your item.
