I recently purchased a Hampton Bay ceiling fan with a remote control. The control is designed to be wired in and the fan speed and light to be activated by the control. There is no pull chain. I want to know if there is a way to add a pull chain to the fan. Any ideas?

Hello, Last night, I turned on my ceiling fan with the pullchain. The pullchain stuck on. I pulled apart the housing and removed the casing, but it appears the pullchain is completely stuck. Do I need to replace the whole casing, or can I fix the one I have?
