Wisdom Teeth Removal Progress @ 1.5 weeks?
I got my wisdom teeth out 1 & 1/2 weeks ago and saw my Oral Surgeon at 6 days post-op. I inquired about a white spot in the empty socket & he said it was just food & to "syringe" it out. I tried "syringing" & gargling, but nothing has caused it to budge. However, rather than white, now the socket is more maroon in color & has closed more.
    Is this normal?
I have had no pain, redness, or swelling throughout the entire healing process, by the way!
    Thanks!

If you have no pain or swelling then don't worry. The white spot could possibly have been the bone since you weren't able to flush it out with water.
