    Having to pee lots.
I have noticed that over the past week or so that I have been having to get up in the middle of the night about twice to go pee. And when I do sometimes there is slight burning, but its bearable. Also during the day I have to go maybe 5-7 times. I know this isn't normal, because this has just started. I am on birthcontrol and I heard that sometimes this has something to do with it, but I'm not sure. After I have a drink, about 30mins to an hour later I have to pee and it slightly burns.

Should I be worried about this and what can I do to stop the slight burning, or peeing as much?

    Thanks in advance!

    Could be a bladder infection.

You need to see your doctor.

Yup bladder infection sounds the likely culprit, I used to get them a lot.

Again being in Aus is hard but here we have urinary alkalinizers. They are a powder that you mix with water and drink, it helps make your urine less acidic and stops the burning.

Cranberry juice or tablets can help as well to prevent you getting them again.

You need to get it treated quick smart because it can easily turn into a kidney infection and trust me you DON'T want that to happen... nausea, extreme stabbing pain, basic inability to urinate.

Thank you both. When I was about 8 or 9 I had a bladder infection that spread to a kidney infection which was from E.coli. I was in hospital for about a week, so I know how nasty it can be.

Thank you again for the help :) on anitbiotics now and I have a glass of cranberry juice.
