I am trying to install a program into my PC, and I am getting an error message:
Error 1327. Invalid Drive: E:\

I moved your question out of Introductions to this forum topic area so that it will be more likely to be noticed and addressed by those who are best able to answer it. Your question will get noticed much more here. Your title was also just a wee bit too long, so I shortened it.

This is some information I found on it:

If you don't know much about computers, you might not be happy with the solutions given. Especially if you're not comfortable getting into the registry.

You would have to change the drive letter assignment for your cdrom.

Click on START button (look bottom left corner of screen; use left mouse button). In the panel that shows up, go up to RUN and left click on it.
A small box opens in the corner 'Run'; type this in the open text area:

compmgmt.msc

(press OK)

Another box opens, called 'Computer Management'. Look in the left pane of the box for the word STORAGE, and underneath that, for 'Disk Management'. Click once on this.

Look at the right pane, at the bottom half you will see Disk and CDROM with its small icon. Right click on CDROM. Left click on 'Change drive letters and paths'. (note: your left mouse button is what you could call your action button, while your right mouse button is your object properties button).
A small box pops up. In the box with a down arrow next to it, click on the arrow. Scroll to letter E and select it with left mouse button. Click OK. Click OK. Close 'computer management' main window now by clicking on the X button at the very top right corner of this box (it will close it)

If you don't know about computers take it someone who dose you could end up ing it up

You are installing the software in drive which is read only
So the solution is you must change the directory E:/ to C:/ or D:/

Don't worry.. I am computer engg. From india.
Learning computer is not big deal. You should start using computer daily and you will get familiar with it. If you have any queries you can post here ,I will definitely answer it.
