    Can't remember formula
    Jim's weekly pay is two thirds of Alicia's. Together they earn $800 per week. What is each person's weekly pay?

    Let the weekly pay of Alicia be x.
    Then, the weekly pay of Jim is

    Together, they have $800. That means that

    Solve for x to get the weekly pay of Alicia.

    Then to find the weekly pay of Jim, find two thirds of the pay of Alicia :)
