Moving out of state with a child
Hi there, I am currently married and wanting a divorce. When I get a divorce I want to move back to my hometown where my entire family is. I only moved where I am because my husbands family is there. I need to know what the laws are for moving out of state with a child. Thanks!

This is something you will have to discuss with your divorce attorney. The judge will then have to approve you moving out of state.

A lot of this will be determined by your husband. If he wants visitation/custody, he will likely be able to block your move.

As noted, you need to discuss this with an attorney. Your husband has rights to spend time with his child. So your ability to move with your child is something to be negotiated as part of the divorce.
