I can only remember one scene of the movie, fairly hazy as I was still a child when I saw it, in the late 80s, though the movie may have been older than that, it was in color. I remember the scene was in some sort of space station, or lab or some such area, with a female character (dark haired, slim build, wearing I believe some sort of silverish/white space suit maybe?), possibly an alien? About to get on a space ship or on some sort of lift (insert classic 'fire extinguisher' smoke effects) inside this big room, if I remember correctly:confused:. If she was a good or bad character I cannot remember. It seems the movie was based on something being frozen in ice, I had thought maybe Carpenters The Thing for some similarities in what I remember, though that turned to not be the case. The alien I believe could change its shape (as said, possibly the female character?), but the scene I remember of it was like a dark, tentacle ridden mass, but more substantial than The Blob type monsters. I have had this scene stuck in my head for many (20ish) years now and have tried without success to track down what movie it is from. Its driving me crazy, :) Thank you for your time, if you can help this would more than make my day/year/etc. :)

Definitely not any of the Aliens and not Galaxy of Terror, I have searched maybe 2000 different titles from this era/genre and cannot find the movie this scene is from, I know I watched the movie when I was a kid, but even searching through my parents old movie tapes I was unable to find it. I can almost picture the scene perfect in my mind, but the details behind it are unclear at best, I am fairly certain that the female character was either the alien/monster/thing, or one of/the main protagonist. I remember she had straight, dark hair and she had a slim face, and this scene was close to the ending I believe. It seems like maybe it was something frozen in ice, hence the Thing reference, but I could be confusing this part with another movie.

Ok so when I was young I had watched this outerspace horror flick about some sort of alien that was killing off the crew. Now I know this sounds very typical for a sci fi horror film, but this wasn't Alien for sure. It was maybe in the mid 80's. So anyway... there is a certain female in the crew that gets infected. The scene that I remember is that she kept vomiting and she maybe thought she was pregnant, which was NOT the case. Another crew member (male) lays next to her in the bed to, I'm assuming, comfort her. The rest of the crew doesn't hear back from them for awhile so they go into the infected/impregnated woman's room and find both them (the comforting male) and woman attached together in this gooey stringy looking cacoon. I don't remember the rest on what happened there. But I do remember some sort of large snake looking alien killing off the crew, one scene where it enters a crew member through his stomach. I remember it being pretty gruesome. PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS MOVIE!!

Beck and Doc request emergency evacuation, but Martin reports a severe storm on the surface that will delay the evacuation for 12 hours. Doc finds that Bowman has committed suicide, being unable to cope with the idea of dying like Sixpack. Her body is taken to sickbay, where it merges with Sixpacks'. They decide to dump both bodies. As they are about to "flush" the cadavers, the bodybag begins squirming. Believing someone inside may be alive, the crew opens it. The creature inside claws Cobb before they can eject it.
They realize that Leviathan was experimenting on its unwitting crew with mutagens. The mutagen was mixed with the vodka that the crew and later Sixpack and Bowman drank. The ship was scuttled when the experiment went out of control.
