    Can closing date be changed?
I currently reside in Tampa, Florida and I am purchasing a house near where I live now. The closing date on the sales contract is September 30th. I would like to know if there is anyway that the closing date can be changed to an earlier date perhaps September 15. Thanks in advance for your response. :D

    Hello j:

If the change is agreeable to the seller, of course. Are you represented by a lawyer?? Is there a real estate agent? That is where I would go to change your agreement.

And don't forget to coordinate with the mortgage company. They often process the loan just days before the settlement date.
