Trial case that cannot be accommodated
    Hi,
I have to be in TN for emergency purposes and my attorney for family court could not have a family court trial moved to accommodate these circumstances that need to be addressed in TN. I've toyed with the idea of just not coming to court and taking care of what has to be taken care of here in TN, then deal with it when I return home in NY. However, I do not want to return home and find a mob squad waiting at my house. What do I do?

Have you toyed with the idea of having a default judgement entered against you? Its possible that will happen if you just don't show up.

What is the hearing in NY for?
