    Harbor Breeze ceiling fan issues!
I have a Harbor breeze ceiling fan w/ remote, that recently lost operation of the lighting portion of the light/fan. Prior to losing the lighting portion, the fan would turn itself (and occasionally the light) on without any human interaction (and no, I don't believe it is haunted:eek:). I assumed, at first, that there was some kind of radio frequency interference that was causing it to turn on at all hours of the night. I have doublechecked the wiring, and everything appears to be in order. The light and fan had operated normally for a couple of years after I installed it, but within the last year or so has developed the problem I described. Any information that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

The erratic light behavior does sound like some other device being on the same frequency. But now it doesn't operate at all? Usually a bad receiver. Does the LED on the remote still light up when you try to operate the light?
