    AC not cooling
I live in Florida and it seems to get hotter every day. This morning, 0530 am, I woke up due to the heat in the house. I go to inspect and found the AC "whining a bit" and the blower not moving. I powered down th system for a few, then go to inspect outside. I wanted to inspect for a burnt out wire or a fuse of some sort but I found nothing. The unit is a Trane and I believe my fan is on the fritz. Any ideas?

It could very well be the motor for the blower since it seems not to be working. You might move the switch on the thermostat to the on position for the blower instead of the auto position. This should make the blower come on and run all the time if not then call for on site service to replace the capacitor, motor or relay.

While looking at it earlier for some reason I decided to move the fan and it began to work again. I figured I would leave it in the on position until a Pro looks at it or should I Just change out the motor? If so, where can I find the motor? (Its not at Lowe's or Home Depot, I've checked before for one).

If you just spun the fan and it started working it could just be the fan capacitor that needs to be replaced.
