My shyness issue
Umm I have a shyness issue and its getting in the way of me talking with girls. My friends tell me that I should talk to girls more often but I just cant. I can only talk to them online. I know its pathetic. So how do I get rid of my fear.

You don't need to talk. The girls want to talk lol. You need to learn how to listen and to empathize.

Lol, wondergirl! XD
Anyway, veganator (love the name, by the way), why exactly do you get "shy" talking to girl in real life, but not online?
How old are you?
Are you just talking to girls, or are you talking to girls?
Until we get more info, we really can't help you.
Some basic tips until then:
1: Look them in the eyes, NOT the breasts.
2: Talk about what interests you. However, only bring up conversations where they can have some input. In other words, NOT a story, a discussion.
3: Girls and boys are people, and if you can talk to one sex, realistically, you can talk to the other.
4: Stuttering/loosing your train of thought/etc. is okay. But don't go back and apologize, just move on.

You must be a male.
You talk with girls, not to them. The last thing we want to hear about are sports and cars and other girls. You guys can talk about that stuff with each other.

I see your point WG (I think) but it really isn't like that.
I use "to" or "with" depending on the context. Considering the OP used "talk to girls" more, I used that one. Usually, "talk with" is more formal. (As far as I was taught, that is.)

See, two times as much "talk to" so I was just responding in kind, :D

The best way to get over shyness is to ask questions and be a good listener.
Find something that is of interest to the girl, start a conversation by saying something such as; I understand that you will be trying out for cheerleader this year. "Wow, have you been one before? Does that take a lot of work? Is this a passion of yours? Etc."
And when she responds, pay attention to what she has said and ask questions, compliment her on taking on such an endeavor.
You get the idea... when people are great listeners and are interested in what is being said, they are presumed to be nice people and a bond starts to build.
