    Low hot water pressure
My husband and I recently built a log home. We have well water and have been having problems with very low hot water pressure only when more than one faucet is being used.
When only one faucet is turned on hot, it works fine. If all faucets are turned on cold the pressure is fine. We are puzzled as to where the problem might be. Could it be a plumbing problem or well problem? Any suggestions?

    Hi Lorna,

What kind of pipes did you use? New hot water heater or was it used? This is a volume problem, something's constricting the flow in the hot water lines. Do you flush your heater to remove mineral build up? Are all the hot water faucets affected? Back to you. Regards, Tom

The piping is copper and the water heater is a brand new tankless waterheater. I don't remember the brand name but the water heater is supposed to provide up to 5 gallons of hot water every minute at a tempeture of 110 degrees. I've noticed now that when I do laundry, we have NO water coming out of the faucets upstairs when faucets are turned on hot. This morning my husband filled the jet tub up with hot water, which took 30 minutes. I had to wait till he finished before I could take a shower. When I got in the shower, the water pressure was very poor even though he had no water running in the tub.
