Do you want to adopt the baby? Or are you guys looking into temporary custody? The more details you can tell us the more advice people can give you. If it's an adoption you'll need an attorney. Where is the baby's father in all of this?

I think you should consult a lawyer first.

You're still not giving us many details. Where is the father in this?
She doesn't want the baby so she's just going to give it to you temporarily? We really need the full story here if you want help. Either way, adoption or you having temporary custody is going to be a sticky situation. You're planning to raise your friends child. "i guess that will be temporary custody" doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Will it be? Or won't it be? What is the goal here? Are you financially and emotionally able to support a child?

She don't know the father and that the reason why she don't want to keep the baby

If you adopt the child you will be able to. Until the child is 18 you'll be responsible. Are you ready for that commitment?
If you are, the first step will be getting a lawyer. And maybe counseling. I can't imagine yours and your friend's relationship staying the same if you go through with adopting her child. And her not knowing who the father is might prove to be a challenge. But a lawyer could help you figure it all out.

The issue is there is a father, so an attempt to find the father by DNA tests and have them sign over their rights has to happen. You can't just do this on a paper, you will have to get an attorney, this is very long and drawn out
