    Wind Turbine Power/converting my home
Exactly what do I need to know prior to purchasing a small wind turbine kit for my home, so I can do my part to get off the grid? And finding which ones would be the best?
    Thank you, Homesteader 56

Northern Power makes one of the best midsize wind turbines. You also have endurance. You need to know how much energy you consume monthly. You need to know your wind category to determine if it is worth wild. Also, to go off grid you need storage (batteries).
