    Am dopi I have an assignment and I want to know more about how does porverty breeds crime?

    Some poor people give up and figure it is the only way they are going to get ahead

    Some turn to drugs and then need to commit crimes to be able to afford their habit... rather than work for their money they turn to crime.


    Really though look at all the corruption in government and all the people that embezzle from their Corporations. I think it is more about greed and a criminal mind than being poor.

    I know a LOT of successful people that came from poor and from welfare moms.
    Look at Oprah Winfry for one.
