    Back of ear tattoo
I have 4 brothers and I want to get their initials tattooed of the backside of my cartilage. They're the 4 men that will always be in my life  On the back of my left ear I want my real and half brother's initials ( J & T ) on my right I want my 2 step brothers ( C & T ).

Any idea how much that would cost? They would be rather small and not very noticeable.

Also I want Serenity written on the inside of my left wrist and I also need an idea of price. Anyone with an idea?

For just some lettering and one color (black) it shouldn't be expensive. However, it depends on the shop and the artist who does it.

You'll have to find a reputable shop and ask them BEFORE you have it done.

I only paid $30 for a 3" diameter tattoo (all black) but my friend didn't barter as well as I did and she paid nearly $80 for a similar tattoo.

    Dear LearningAsIGo,

    Thanks for the advice.
Mine aren't going to be even that big and they are going to be black. But suppose I don't get that great of a deal. The artist I'm going to isn't all that busy right now so would that help the price?

It really depends on the tattoo artist, he can do it for $1 million or free, it's entirely up to him, and the fact your getting tattooed on the back of your ear may affect the price because it's a bit more challenging.

Both of my tattoos (all black), which each took well over an hour for each, were about $200 a piece.

I can't see you spending much money on it though.

I hope not, the guy I'm going to also did my belly button piercing, so hopefully get it for cheaper.

I paid $60 for a tattoo that is about 2x2 and done in 7 colors, so a tiny single color tattoo should be fairly cheap. The thing is just to go to a place that has reasonable prices.

Here the minimum cost is $40, not matter what the size is.
They have to cover the cost of all the equipment they use as a lot of it is disposable.

Don't be afraid to ask for examples of his work. Quality is THE most important thing in a tattoo :)
