    Wiring Central ac Blower fan
A guy took my blower fan off my central ac unit, then told me it needed a new fan motor which I went and had put on the squirral cage but now I can not get a hold of him to put it back on and to wire it back. I put it on but I do not know how the wiring goes. I connected the white wire back to the white wire and the black wire to the black wire but I have two wires left that come off the motor, one red and one blue, both are hot when motor is turned on. There is only one wire that I see that needs something hooked up to it and it is a different color blue wire. Where does those wires go?

They are speed wires, you probably have a 3 speed motor
On side of motor /maybe on outside of the box it came in is a diagram maping out where each wire should go,, follow directions and tape off the ends of wire/wires you don`t use

Did the motor not call for a capicitor to be added ?
