    John Deere Lawn Tractor 160 Replacement Belt #
    Do you know the replacement belt #? The one that broke off wasn't all there, so we didn't get the right length.

    Hi,
    The Deere #M83837 is the motion drive belt for the old 160 (the one about 20 years old.) If this is an LT 160, then you should have asked that.

I am trying to remove and replace my clutch on a John Deere 160 Lawn Tractor. When I turn the bolt at the base of the clutch that holds the clutch to the mower, the belt wheel spins so that I am unable to loosen the bolt. Anyone have any ideas on how to stop the wheel from spinning?
