Bleeding when I go to the bathroom
I am very constipated regardless of eating a lot of fiber, so I drink laxative tea or take senna tablets. Recently I started bleeding when going to the bathroom, but I stopped taking the laxatives. What could it be?

You need to clean out your digestive system.
Watch what you eat and take digestive enzymes and probiotics. I wouldn't take any detoxes though.
Laxatives can be harsh on your stomach

Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and cut out any junk foods. Also watch what you drink. Cut out caffeine

    Get to the doctors too.

Any change in your bowel movements is of concern and should be evaluated by a physician. Especially if you have a family history of colon cancer, personal history of colon polyps or if you are over 50.

If your bowel movements are dark like tar this could be from a stomach bleed - you need to go to ER asap.

If the bleeding is brigh red in association with rectal pain as you are having the bowel movement this can be from a hemorrhoid or anal fissure.
