Hampton Bay Romano Ceiling Fan Question
Hi. I recently purchased a home with a hampton bay Romano ceiling fan. There was no manual. I have tried to get into the light to change light bulbs and can't see to get it to open? Any ideas?

The glass should turn counter-clockwise and then remove. You may have to apply some pressure.

You can either order a remote from Hampton Bay with a reverse function, or try this trick: spin the blades in the direction you want them to go, cycle the power off and on until the fan runs in that direction. Sometimes it works.

HHampton bay parts phone# 877 898 1881: u will need the name ans home depot 6 digit sku # of fan/lamp. This is in the owners manual which everyone throws out. Most hampton bay fixtures have the home depot sku somewhere on them either near the electrical housings or on the underside of the base as with their lamps. MY ADVICE: ALWAYS SAVE YOUR RECEIPT, UPC FROM THE BOX, AND THE OWNERS MANUAL. THIS HELPS IMMEASUREABLE WITH FUTURE PROBLEMS. KEEP IT WITH YOUR HOME FILES (hvac, stove, fridge, lawnmower, etc.). I work for HD And this is what I tell ALL my customers. Hope this helps. I have the Romano II Celing Fan 3 years now and love it. Ceiling fans improve your heating and a/c efficiency. See you in the store!
