Is it illegal for staff members of a phystractic office to listen to medical information about a patient and pass it on to the doctor which she brought up in the next session. The doctor said that it was illegal to talk to them herself, but the same thing was accomplished by the staff. No information about my sessions were discussed but I feel that the situtation should be addressed in some fashion.

So your saying a staff person overheard something about you and told your doctor. Then your doctor told you she said whatever when you had your next session.

Not sure what you are saying here
The doctor said that it was illegal to talk to them herself, but the same thing was accomplished by the staff.
Who and what can't the dr talk to that the staff accomplished?

What was type of stuff was discussed if it wasn't information about your situation?
