    Level of sex offenders
I heard their were differet levels of sex offenders, Level One, level 2 and level 3. What are the differences? Please do not provide me with websites to look up the information. And please don't tell me to Google it or search for it, I have already done that. I just would like to know the answer to this question. If you can shed any light on the topic, please respond. If not, don't answer or reply to this.

    Level 1 Sex Offenders

Where the Sex Offender Registry Board determines that the risk of reoffense by an offender is low and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public by that offender is not such that a public safety interest is served by public availability, the Board shall give that offender a Level 1 designation. Information on Level 1 offenders will not be available to the public. Neither the police nor the Board have authority to disseminate information to the general public identifying a Level 1 offender. Information identifying Level 1 offenders may only be given to the Department of Correction, any county correctional facility, the Department of Youth Services, the Department of Social Services, the Parole Board, the Department of Probation and the Department of Mental Health, all city and town police departments and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for law enforcement purposes.

    Level 2 Sex Offenders

Where the Board determines that the risk of reoffense is moderate and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a public safety interest is served by public availability of registration information, it shall give a level 2 designation to the sex offender.

The public shall have access to the information regarding a level 2 offender through the Local Police Department and through the Sex Offender Registry Board.

    Level 3 Sex Offenders

Where the Board determines that the risk of reoffense is high and the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is served by active dissemination, it shall give a level 3 designation to the sex offender.

The public shall have access to the information regarding a level 3 offender through the Local Police Departments and through the Sex Offender Registry Board.

I am going to tell you to Google it.Because I don't happen to have that info at my fingertips. I would have researched it for you but since you came here expecting something without any regard for the people who do this for FREE,I 'm not going to.

You really should not come here asking for help with that attitude.
ANYONE can answer any question they want!

It is not your call to make,if you don't like the answer, tough!

Well obviously you can't read because I told everyone not to say that. The whole point of this site is to ask questions on different topics for enlightenment. If everybody searched their problem on Google, then this site wouldn't exist! I did not come here expecting anything. If people feel like taking the time to answer me, then great and I appreciate it. If they don't feel like answering, that's fine too. But don't sit here and whine about having to answer my question, please grow up. So like I said before, I don't want to be told to look up my question. If you don't want to answer it, then don't reply.

I can read and you did not ASK for enlightenment ,you asked a specific question about something you could have easily googled.

I am not whining ,I am pointing out to you ,that YOU do not dictate HOW this site is run and who can and can not answer your question!

You have posted this question numerous times and the answer is not going to change! Here is your enlightenment:

Your FRIEND (?)is in a world of poo.

I hope you are now enlightened!

Did you want someone to tell you anything but the facts or did you want enlightenment?

You have been given the facts, that is what you asked for !

If you want to ask a question about how the facts may affect you friends life ,than do so.

    Ralphie4you, I gave you the answer. I didn't have to ;)

artlady is right. You CANNOT tell us who can and cannot answer. And you can't tell us HOW to answer. If you had read the rules before posting, you would know this.

    Have a nice day. :)

You sure seem like your whining. It acts like a pig, snorts like a pig and looks like a pig, its usually a pig. I asked for an answer to a question which is the same as being enlightened on the topic. Most questions that are asked on here can be easily googled to find the answer. So my question is no different then the rest of them. I posted this question only twice. My friend though can still move on with his life. My friend didn't even get jail time. Enlightment means reflection upon something. Answers, fcts and evidence all count as enlightment. How facts effect someone's life, cannot be answered because it varies from person to person and you don't know the details surrounding his case

I'm not telling you how to answer. Everyone's opinion is different and I respect that. But if I ask a question, you should answer it or ignore it. But I don't need references o websites to look at it, because I could have did that myself. I want information that isn't available on the internet

This is the question you asked. You asked 'what is the difference between level 1 2 and 3 of sex offenders.

I cannot give you examples, because all cases are different, and at total discression of the judge and of the board.

And how in the world can we give YOU more details, if you will not give US more details?

Ralphie, I hope you enjoyed your little temper tantrum. Also, I hope you enjoyed your attempt at running this board. Not going to happen.

    I'm reporting you.

I guess you chose not to enlighten yourself with the rules of this site, too bad.

We do this for free, you became a member for free, you do not have the right to dictate who will answer your thread or what answer they will give. I suggest you learn some manners or you won't last long here, that is if the mods decide to give you another chance.

    Now behave.

I guess he wanted us to enlighten him about how this conviction is going to affect his friend(?)
All he had to do was ask that question and he would have been ENLIGHTENED!
He asked for facts and he got the facts.
    Nuff said .
By the way if it walks like a and talks like a ,If it plays like a pedophile,it probably is!
