My boyfriend is charged with firearem by felon and possession with attempt to sell and deliever crack cocaine and maintainin and dwellin and they charged me with maintainin and dwelling they busted our door down saying they have a search warrant and they came in and ramshacked our home saying they had a informant that gave them information about our home so they came but the whole reason for them to come to our home which showed on the search warrant was that they said my boyfriend had ran from them the day before from the store but it wasn't him they mistake a lot of people because they have dreadlocks which he has dreadlocks like a lot of folks.in court do they show the motion of discovery because I think that it was a illegal search.what would the motion of discovery show.

Tell your boyfriend to keep his mouth shut. You too. Your lawyer can get the affidavit they used to base their search. I don't know what it'll say...

Let's hope your attorney can defeat the search, because a felon in possession of a firearm, is going to be big time all by itself.
