    Hi,
Of the list I would say the first two. The first one because I doubt that a cheap generation unit would be attached to that engine (I could be wrong as no model was given - I think the generator business was sold by Homelite to someone else.) The Elite series can be looked up and is good unit (used to be the "portable" versions of Generac.)
Honda not only makes a good engine, but they make a great, though pricey, whole unit. The Honda and Subaru engines are the most popular engines in the upscale lines.
    Peace,
    Clarke

At 3000w, a real honda cost at least 1300 clams. Homedepot have the homelite 3500w, with subaru engine for around 500 clams,2 yr warranty for gen and 3 yr for engine. The BS cost about 600. Don't like the BS bcause of the 82 db noise, and don't know how noisy the homelite will be
Iam trying to get ready for the next power outage, just get enough power for a 25 ft3 frig and a fan/lite. Hope it will stay in good condition if I run it 1hr monthly and able to keep it for at least 10 yrs

I know there are a few threads about this but I wanted to clarify the answers for myself. First of all, we live in an area that has a high water table. I also heard the power goes out quite frequently. If that happens and our sump pump isn't able to work... well our basement will be in about 3-4...
