In 1990 or so, I read a children's book about a little girl who discovered live people in a dollhouse. I believe the little girl was living with relatives following a tragedy in her family. The dollhouse was behind a wall, or something like that, and the tiny people inhabiting it were actually alive. In this book, there was a poem about a rose. That's all I can remember. I adored this book, and I hope to find the title of it soon. Thank you so much!

I know this book! There was an odd, extremely tall Uncle, and the people she found in the dollhouse were actually alive as regular people at one time, but they died in a fire (I think?) I'm pretty sure when she found them they were actually walking, talking dolls - I could go on forever! I used to read it over and over when I was little (I think I still have the book in storage) It's called Behind the Attic Wall -!
