Should I do this or not?

Hiiii!
Okay, I'm only13 and I'm ABOUT to go out with this guy who's 16. But I'm kind of scared to tell my mom because, she will flip! But he just turn 16 and I'm about turn 14 in a month. And he respeacts me! I know that because, I'm 13 but I look like I'm 15/16 because I develop fatser. So all most every guy tries to hit on me and use me for my body and I can't really tell who likes me and who's using me! But when I'm with him I feel happy and all my problems are gone!! He treats me so good and isn't afraid for me to meet his friends he introduces us! And no one ever did that!. so what should I do? And do you guys think he's to old? Because age is just a number when you're an adult but when you're a minor, its not just a number! But like I grew up fast because of my childhood so I'm very mature and responseable! But my mother doesn't trust me! I'm really not like that! I never done drugs, sex, smoke or anything bad but my mom thinks I do.. and I don't even hang out with people like that! Please help me out!

You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders for 13. You are right age difference is an issue at your age. When you go out with any guy you have to be careful they aren't trying to take advantage of you and do not let them. Your mom may trust you but worry that you may be getting in over your head.

I agree with N0Help, you sound like a smart kid.

I was a smart kid, and my mom always used this line on me:

"It's not YOU I don't trust...I don't trust the REST OF THE WORLD."

I think you should wait until you are a little older, and for right now, get to know him as a friend. If he really likes you and respects you, he won't mind waiting.

Oh, I absolutley hated hearing that line, especially when she'd talk about someone kidnapping me.

So I'd whine about it, and then my dad would pop his head into the room and say to my mom, "Honey, if someone kidnapped Torrie, they would send her back with money and note begging us to keep her."

Then he'd look at me and say, "Oh by the way, you're grounded for backtalking your mother. :)"

"AW SHUCKS DAD!!"

I use to tell my kid a kidnapper would send him back and demand money for the torture.
