What do I tell my mom
My parents got divorced when I was 12 my mom and dad both met someone new. I don't mind my dad being with someone else but my mom is a whole other story because when ever she gets in a fight/disagreement with this person she always talks to me and asks me what she should do I have no idea what to say because I have never experienced any of this divorce stuff so what do I say to my mom when she comes to me about her problems?

Tell your mom to go find a therapist. You are only 14 and do not need to be invovled in her problems. They are for adults not kids.

I would say it a little nicer than that, maybe suggest that she talk to one of her girlfriends instead of you because you really can't help her and it's making you uncomfortable.:)

She is probably just venting but needs to do it with someone else. Tell her you don't know what she is talking about and show her this site. :D

    Dear Telsa,

From my experience the best answer I can advice you is always to answer the same thing: "I would like to help you and I feel with you mom, but I do not know mom". And then go play. This way you will show your mom your empathy, but in the same time she will get used to it and will stop asking you to help her with her problems. It should not take for a long time sweetie. :)

Showing anger, or ignoration or any kind of this I do not recommend, first it does not help anyone/makes the opposite, second it may make other just aggro and sharpen situation.
