    Bedtime Fits
    Hi,

    I have a daughter that is two years old and she will be three in just three mo. But she is still sleeping in my bed and to be completely honest I never minded it was nice that she wanted to cuddle every night. Now that she is getting older it is getting really hard to be able to to sleep with her and it is interfering with my marriage. She has a sister that is 14 mo. Younger then she and that sleeps in he own bed and they share a room and I'm not sure how to get her to sleep in her own bed in her own room with her sister without a screaming fit? I don't like her to cry cause it makes me feel like I am a bad mom and that she will recent me for it.Dose anyone have any advise on what I should do? Please my sanity and marriage depends on it!     She is crying to make you feel bad so don't fall for it.
    Have a talk with her about being the older sister and setting an example. That if her sister can sleep in their room she should be able to too.
    You need to maybe find some advantages or something to get her willing to stay in her room. Maybe sit with her on her bed before
    She goes to sleep and read her a book or something.

    If it really gets bad and you haven't found a solution then maybe try laying down with her in her room for a little while.

    No help for you is correct also you can try a sticker chart. Bribery works wonders.

    Cry it out worked for my daughter. And simply put her back in bed when she gets up and tries to get in bed with you. Don't talk to her, don't turn lights on, just put her back in bed and walk away again.

    It will take a few nights, maybe even a week or 2 but she will get it.

    Don't feel bad for letting her cry, children know what they are doing there not daft they use it to get to you. Put her in her own bed and praise her a lot if she stays in there even promise her a reward if she stays in there 4 2 weeks without getting into your bed.

    If you are going to be a really good parent, the child will throw a lot of fits when you tell them NO, NO and NO for all sorts of things.

    Be the parent merely make the child sleep in own bed
