    DVD Recording.
My dad wants to buy a DVD Recorder and player, but he is wondering how you can record up to 185 minutes on one DVD disk?

Does anyone here have a DVD Recorder who may be able to help me with this question?

185 minutes is 3 hrs. and 5 minutes. He has been looking at a TV series that is now available on DVD and the first one in the series opener is 185.5 minutes. That's a bit more than 3 hrs.

I will appreciate any help that may be available.

    Thank you in advance

I didn't know where else to post it and I thought that would be a perfect place.

I'm just curious as to why you thought that? If you scroll down the list of forum, you see that each covers a specific topic. The Member Discussion area is not for question but for back and forth discussion of an issue.
