Hey guys, so it's definitely not We're Back. Lol. I searched for dinosaur movies and everyone seems to be asking about that one. I'm pretty sure it was a movie and not a TV series, as I used to rent it as a kid (mid to late 80s).

Details I can remember are:
-Dinosaurs
-humans have advanced technology (sci-fi)
-I think I remember it as Anime
-It was a Universal Pictures movie, as I remember the Universal Pictures spinning Earth at the beginning, and the camera panning in on to the Earth to start the movie. As a kid the Universal logo at the start of a movie always excited me as I thought we were about to watch this "unknown name" movie. Alas, for years now, I've been so very disappointed lol.

Should have mentioned it wasn't Dino Riders either, I remember that one (and I totally had the T-REX/main bad guy's dinosaur toy as a kid).

Heh, you I lived and breathed dinosaurs when I was a kid too.

I looked around a little more and think I may have found it.

I think I'm looking for the same movie too.
From what I can recall there were three kids. A boy and a girl with her younger brother. Somehow they met these weird beings that I think they called the masters or the creators. And then they returned to the time of the dinosaurs. There they met a family of triceratops but the T-Rex kills them all except one and they sort of adopt him. I think it eventually dies too, but the T-Rex keeps hunting them even as ages seem to go by. Then they find themselves in the time of the first cavemen and I think the girl is offered as a sacrifice to the T-Rex, but in the end the older boy saves her.
