    Thermostate connections
I recently moved into a new home. The old thermostat used 8 wires. The new hunter 44360 uses 5. What do I do with the other 3 wires. Also since the new thermostat was installed, the A coil has been freezing up. Any Information would be helpful.
    Thanks

Take new t stat back and get the correct t stat.
Sounds to me like new one is not correct one for new system. And even though it seems to be working it isn't.
