    Under cabinet odors
I have a terrible odor coming from a set of kitchen cabinets. It is a smell like mildew, mold or something like that. There is no water source(i.e. sink) near these cabinets. I've tried various odor eliminators w/o success. Could someone give me an idea of what this could be, and how I can get rid of it? Thank you!! Donna

Has there been a spill(say moping the floor)that ran under the cabinets?

What about what might be below the floor,is there a basement or crawl space?

There is a crawl space under the floor. No spills as far as I can tell. The next thing I'm going to try (unless someone has a better idea) is to see if there is some sort of water under the floor that could be causing this. I've done everything else I can think of---and the "fix" is only temporary. The space is small so I have to find someone who can fit up there. :) Thanks

If there is a crawl space, the moisture is closer to the floor line and maybe you have had a lot of rain this year?(I know we have):(

I'm afraid you're right. I didn't notice it very much during the winter. We have had a fairly rainy summer. I 'll check to see if the smell is from a wet crawl space. Thanks so much for the advice!! Donna
