I bought this book The Power of Birthdays, Stars and Numbers by Saffi Crawford. I wanted to know what is Beneficial and Challenging mean?

It means for your good and gives you something to work toward.
like if you are not good at science but you work at it it is a challenge and it is good for you to learn it.

I get a lot out of the birth sign things about your personality but I think it is a waste of time to use the astrology for predicting your future.
The book should have numerology since the title say and numbers.
I get more out of that than the astrology.

I can help you with any basic questions
but I don't know all that mercury rising and stuff because I don't get into the astrology other than what your birth day means about your personality.

With the numerology you have to break down your name into numbers.
Then for your personal day and personal year you have to take your birth day and add it up with the current.

Like say your birthday is 1-1-1988

1+1+1+9+8+8 is 28 2+8= 1

then for your personal year
you take the 1 and add it to the current year
which would be 2
that would make your personal year a 3

for personal day you take the month and date but NOT the year
1+1 =2
and add it to the current month day and year
2+ 7 + 2 + 4 + 2+009 ends up being 8
