Are you saying you have primary custody?
Was she seeing this guy before you got custody?
Was it brought up in court that she is seeing a sex offender when the visitation order was written?
Your best bet is probably to take it back to court and petition for a modification for supervised visits.

Yes she was seeing him but I did not know about it it was not brought up in court I have primary placement so I should motion the court for supervised visitation

You have to go back to court,
Is the custody agreement and child visit orders already in place. Or are you working on those also.

But you get it listed that this person can not be around the children or you use his status to ask for supervised visits.

Some of it will depend on his sex offense classification too. If it was against a child then he likely can be thrown in jail for being around your child in the first place. If it was a 'minor' offense (urinating in public has been prosecuted as a sex offense before) there may not be grounds to change visitation.

Best bet is to get into court and see what comes of the motion.
