    Killing Grasshoppers
Does anyone know a nature enemy of grasshoppers or a way to kill them without killing beneficials?

No. Not really. Grasshoppers are diminishing because of pesticides from people having their grass sprayed for weeds. They actually help us get rid of aphids, and other pests.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen any at all in my garden and the snail population is increasing. So there you go. Either have your lovely flowers blossoming, with lots of leaves, or kill the grasshoppers.

I don't know what to say, I am a gardener.

There isn't a natural way to kill grasshoppers at least none that I can think of.
I'm afraid that you'll have to buy something.

You can kill them one by one but I doubt you have enough time for that.

You could also stop planting plants in your garden but then your garden wouldn't be a garden.
There's no easy way out of it.

    Good Luck!:):D:):D:)

As my esteemed fellow members have pointed out, it's a trade-off. If you'd still like to give it a whirl check these out.

This is somewhat of a commercial site, but interesting. If you spray them with diluted Black Strap Molasseses they can't breath.

Not sure of your situation, but I have Game Chicken's that just love them, and humorus to watch them catch and eat them. I am surrounded by 100 acres of pasture and they are eating the grass, but in my yard I seldom see any grasshopper's. What other animal will eat a pest and leave behind some Organic Fertilizer? Before the chicken's we had them so bad they eat all the leave's off the Peach tree's and would even eat the Peaches leaving just the pit's hanging. Would even eat the bark off the fruit trees and kill them, So my answer to you is if you can , get some Game Chicken's. If you are in a rural setting, the game chicken's will roost in the tree's, and are less likely to be attacked by predator's... The other Non-game chicken's cannot fly very far into the tree's and you must provide a "Coop" for them at night. Good Luck and hope this help's...
