    Location of Heat Pump
    I installed a Heat pump in the perfect location, I thought, in out townhome. Now the strata wants us to move it because we never got the proper authorization to install it. How far from the building can a Heat Pump be installed? I think they want it in the back of our lot.

    Your local codes will determine where you place the heat pump and the manufactures install instructions will determine the maximum length of the copper lines. Note: when the lines are extended too much you will loose some efficiency.
