    Wiring a switch and recepticles
    I want to bring a hot into a switch box for a light and also feed some recepticles off the hot. How do I do this?

    On black wire from power put 2 pigtails.

    Wire one pigtail to switch, the other to black wire for outlet.

    Wire black wire from light to other screw of switch.

    Wire nut 3 white wires together.

    Wire nut ground wires together.

    I agree with creahands but if his answer is not clear just ask more questions. I know exactly what he is saying but we are assuming that you know a few things about wiring.
