I have a Tosihiba P105, I can turn it on and it well run fine for 5-15 min during this time frame the screen well go black. The computer still runs because I can hear the music going. The power button, mouse pad, keyboard all are unresposive. The only way to resolve is unhook all power. I currenltey have it apart to clease out. I guess it could only be the video card, video driver or the cabling between. I need to narrow down this issue so I can resolve myself any advise would be greatley appricated. Thanks Kenneth

Need to check how you have your power options set

For XP
To check power options:
Start, settings, control panel, Power Options icon
-Use the dropdown box for Turn Off Monitor and change it to Never and click Apply and OK


For Vista
Start, settings, control panel, Power Options icon
-Click on Change Plan Settings for appropriate power scheme you are using and use dropdown boxes to make your changes as you would like them to be

Have you updated any drivers recently? Try going to a roll-back driver.
