Can I just clarify your question?
You have an iud in place.
Or you don't have an iud in place and had unprotected sex?
If you have an iud you are protected to a large degree from pregnancy, not std's or stf's.(f standing for infection)
Firstly I would check the string,(sometimes it gets looped around the cervix, that's OK,its just to see if its still there, it may have fallen off otherwise) and if you can reach check the top of your cervix and see if you can feel the iud, if you can,its falling out.
If you are feeling unwell,I suggest going to your doctor,as etoptic pregnancies can occur with the iud.
