    Leaky pan with A/C unit
    Hi-

My A/C unit is causing water to leak under the carpet in the adjacent room.
I am positive it is the A/C unit, as the filter is wet.

I have turned off the A/C unit to mitigate the damage.

Anyone else had this? Suggestions? My guess is I have a drain stopped up somewhere.

    Thanks,
    Leanna in TX

Clear the drain line. I use compressed air but other methods also work. If it leaks after that and you are sure the drain line is open then the coil drain pan could be defective.
