No hot water in the shower
So we just moved into a house that we are renting for the next six months. It's a new house, built around 2005. Every faucet in the house, the guest shower, and the main bathtub get hot water. However, the main shower gets almost none. If you turn the handle in the shower all the way to hot, it begins to lose water pressure and only gets luke warm at best. We've talked to the landlord about it and he indicated that it used to take a long time for the shower to warm up, but I've waited 20 minutes and it never gets warm. He's looking into it, but he lives out of state and his house just burned down, so I'm not expecting him to resolve it anytime soon.

I just want to know if this is some sort of obvious problem with a simple fix, or if its going to involve costly repairs. If it's a quick fix, I'll just get it done myself. I would really appreciate any insight or help anyone could give me.

    Thanks,
    Rob

Hi! Rob, and welcome to AMHD :)

If you know how to take a spigot apart and have the tools,
Check that hot water side, and make sure the screw holding the washer
Didn't come loose, allowing the washer to freeze to the seat.
