Moen single handle faucet, squeeling sound
We have a moen single handled older faucet, Château. I have replaced the replacement cartridge (1225) and still a terrible sound and I bled the water lines as well. Now I am looking to replace the washers on the collar diverter (91192), but there is no Moen illustration as to what washers go where. I have a white plastic washer that is tweeked and not sure where that fell out of. Any thoughts as to repair or anything else to try and stop the squeeling.. Thanks

No worries, we put in a whole new faucet in after all, no need to respond after all. Thanks anyway

I am changing out the cartridge on a Moen single handle positemp shower faucet. I am wondering what type and how much lubricant I should be using on the cartridge prior to inserting it in the "pipe". The package seems to be concerned about using silicaon lubricant.
