    Shift change or not?
Would anyone out there go from weekends to during the week. I currently work Fri-Sun6pm-8am weekends only. I can go to Mon-Thurs 10pm-8am. Its 4 days unstaed of 3 and its all week with no time during the week. Money the same, more fuel, but easier with time off. I currently have a boyfriend whom doesn't mind my weekends. He is concerned I may not like the new shift and may not be happy. And he said we can find time-but that's been hard. Still is it a plus or minus. I have a hard time with decisions on jobs, but don't want to make the wrong one and be stuck on weekends or the weeknite. Help...

Which shift has had less lay off? Also, it's still night shift. You didn't say what your occupation is so it's going to be hard to advise you if you would like it better.

Neither shifts have had layoffs. I work in healthcare CT Scan Tech. So does that help.

It is mainly what you personally prefer.
Many jobs have a hard time getting weekend help.
It is up to you what days you prefer having off
