Should the baby stop being active?
Iam 31 weeks pregnant and the baby has been very active throughout, however for the past 3 days she hasn't moved much atb all. Is this normal or should I see someone to make sure everything is OK?

I would suggest getting it checked out just to put your mind at ease.

You can never be too careful, please go and see someone. They usually say that if you haven't felt the baby move more than 10 times within a day, then you need to get it checked out.

However, my advice would be to go and see someone anyway, as you can never be too careful, I was 38 weeks and my son stopped moving altogether, and I left it and went to the hospital next day as I wasn't sure because I had read that your babie's movements slow down abit in the third trimester. I really wish I hadn't read that, as I was monitered and rushed for an emergancy C section as he was struggling in there, which caused complications.

However, I don't wish to frighten you, as this may not be the case with you, as your only 31 weeks, and you say you haven't felt baby move as much?

Please don't question it ans sit and do nothing, first ring your hospital and tell them what you've told us, and they will advise you from there.

    All the best x

I see you've not been back on here since your post. I hope that's because you've given your hospital a ring to tell them your concerns.

    I hope so x

Definitely see the doctor. But keep in mind, this late in pregnancy, there is less room for baby to move around as he is getting much bigger, and their movements DO slow down a bit. But definitely see the doctor to be sure and check that baby's heart beat.

Good luck and PLEASE come back and let us know!
